In short: we collect only what we need to run this website and answer your messages. We are not a lender, we don't ask for your financial account details, and we never sell your personal information.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how mypaydaychoice.com ("MyPaydayChoice," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information when you visit mypaydaychoice.com (the "Site") or contact us.

MyPaydayChoice is an informational website about short-term funding options. We are not a lender, do not make credit decisions and do not broker or arrange loans. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form or email us, we collect the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address and the content of your message. Please don't send us sensitive information like bank account numbers, card numbers or government ID numbers; we don't need them.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical information, including:

  • Device and browser details, such as browser type, operating system, screen size and language settings
  • Your IP address and approximate location derived from it (city or region level)
  • Usage information, such as the pages you view, how long you stay, the links you click and the website that referred you
  • Identifiers stored in cookies and similar technologies (see section 4)

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Run, maintain and improve the Site and its content
  • Respond to your questions, feedback and partnership requests
  • Understand how visitors use the Site, so we can make our guides clearer and more useful
  • Measure the performance of our advertising and marketing
  • Detect, prevent and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents and technical problems
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing (for example, in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom), we rely on your consent, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Site, or our need to comply with the law.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device. We use them, along with similar technologies such as pixels and local storage, to keep the Site working, remember your preferences, understand traffic and measure advertising.

  • Essential cookies help the Site load and function securely.
  • Analytics cookies tell us how visitors find and use the Site.
  • Advertising cookies help us and our partners show relevant ads and measure their results.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some parts of the Site may not work properly.

5. Analytics and advertising

We use analytics services to understand how the Site is used.

We may also work with advertising partners that use cookies and pixels to show our ads on other websites and measure how they perform. This is sometimes called interest-based or behavioral advertising. You can limit it here:

  • Google: adssettings.google.com
  • Microsoft: account.microsoft.com/privacy/ad-settings
  • Meta (Facebook and Instagram): facebook.com/adpreferences
  • Digital Advertising Alliance: optout.aboutads.info
  • Network Advertising Initiative: optout.networkadvertising.org

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers that help us run the Site, such as hosting, email, analytics and advertising providers. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal reasons, when we believe in good faith that disclosure is needed to comply with a law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, safety or property of MyPaydayChoice, our visitors or others.
  • Business transfers, if we are involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case information may be transferred as part of that deal.
  • With your consent, or at your direction.

7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for it, the Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. Where required by law, we treat a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising.

8. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it
  • Correct information that is inaccurate
  • Ask us to delete your information
  • Opt out of targeted advertising, or object to or restrict certain processing
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To make a request, email us at support@mypaydaychoice.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it, and we won't treat you differently for exercising your rights. Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws may also use an authorized agent to make a request on their behalf.

9. Data retention

We keep contact form messages and emails for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then unless you ask us to delete them sooner or the law requires us to keep them longer. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of our analytics provider.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International transfers

We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, including the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, for these transfers.

12. Minors

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites, including lenders or financial resources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their privacy practices. Please read the privacy policy of any site you visit before sharing information with it.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or the law. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we'll provide a more prominent notice.
